Searching for information
I am an artist presently working with a colleague to create a multi media exhibition Entiteled ‘Confinement’ for the Queens Hall Gallery in Hexham Northumberland. The installation aims to reflect on the space in which prisoners are confined whilst serving their sentences in the UK and Africa. This work has developed out of work we carried out in a decommissioned jail in Savannah Georgia in 2005.
As part of the work I want to list the dimensions of prison cells in different countries across the world, focusing on the cell sizes in this country & in Africa
So far I have found it difficult to track this information down & wondered if any member of Amnesty has or knows of any information regarding such information which I could use for this purpose?
